12th Flight: [Action]
[Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a rheiard!
It's a bored Arche!
And depending on who you are, people of Luceti, she may be flying above your head, trying to sneak up on you from the skies, or waving at you from her high-up vantage point. Who wants to come be jealous of one of the few people in Luceti who can actually fly?]

NINO TO THE RESCUE
I got you food, Jaffar! It may look plain, but it's actually really good! The nice lady let me try it, an-
...
Oh, hi there! Is that a friend, Jaffar? Oh, maybe it's the other way around! [She giggles brightly, and comes up to the both of them. ...Arche, really, mostly.] Hello! My name is Nino, and thank you for coming to visit Jaffar! He got hurt when he first came here, so he's still recovering, so he can be a bit grumpy now! He's not always like this, though! He's really, really nice, and a reaaally good fighter, too! I hope that we can be good friends, and I really appreciate you coming! Are you flying, too? That's so amazing! Only Pegasi and Wyverns could allow people to fly, in Elibe! I have heard of stories with witches and brooms, but I've never seen anything like that!
Hooray for Nino!
Hi Nino, I'm Arche! Yeah I was just out flying around the clinic and I saw Mister Grumpy there (Jaffar, eh?) watching me out the window. I came in to have a talk but I guess he's not the talkative type, eh? I don't think there'll be a problem with being friends, you seem like a really nice girl! Do you like the broom? It's the best way to fly ever, if you ask me.
[Ye gods, somebody stop them.]
NINO IS A SAVIOR
Not that he would ever assume Nino would poison him, this was merely a habit with baked goods]
/o/
It's nice to meet you, miss Arche!~ Ahaha, yeah, he doesn't talk alot, but it's okay, because he really means well! I think uncle Legault said something about 'morse code' and laughed about it after, but he wouldn't tell me what it meant! [huff] I looked it up after, of course, and apparently it's a language with dots and lines, but I still don't get why it would have been funny... [she crosses her arms, and pouts for a few seconds.]
But yeah! Oh, I'm so glad! Um, I did the cleaning in the Black Fang base a lot, so I'm good at passing the broom... but I never imagined that you could REALLY fly with it! Florina, a really good friend of mine, is a Pegasus Knight! She can fly on her Pegasus, and I'm envious, sometimes! It must be reaaaaally nice, to be able to see everything from so high up! I wish that I could do it too, someday! [She's just being wistful here, though - despite saying that, she seems to be fully aware of the fact that it's not that likely to happen, but it's a nice dream to have, and she doesn't mind just imagining it, either.
She doesn't mind Jaffar's eating methods at all - he's eating, so she's happy. She does turn to him for a bit too, though.] Is it good, Jaffar? You should try to eat it all, so you can get more energy and stuff!

Well you've gotta be pretty good at magic to enchant the broom to fly, and mine won't work for anybody but me, but yeah, you can totally do it if you know how! But you've got a friend who rides a Pegasus? Seriously? Man I only saw one of those things once, and that was awesome. It let a friend of mine ride on it's back so we could take out a whole bunch of flying monsters and a wyvern!
no subject
Still, at the mention of flying monsters his eyes seem to widen just a little. Monsters?]
no subject
Is that how magic would work in your world? I'm a mage, too! I can use my Fire and Thunder tomes just fine, but Erk says that I'm supposed to understand what the chant means for it to work, but I can do it without understanding, so he says that I must be good! I'm not sure myself, but I believe him, if he says so! And uh-huh! Huey is really nice, and he lets me pet him! Florina says her two sisters are Pegasus Knights, too!
[Monsters? Oh ff not scared the least. This just gets her even more excited.] Monsters? Oh WOW, really? It all sounds like a really good story! Was that a wild wyvern, then? I've never seen a Wyvern on its own! There are Wyvern riders in Lord Eliwood's army, too!
no subject
Well that's... part of how it works, at least. I've got chants, but I don't have to use tomes to get my spells off, just have to focus and use my mana. That's, um, a special energy we've all got where I come from. But either way if you can use the spells without even understanding the chant's that's pretty impressive! As is riding a Pegasus, your friend must be pretty amazing!
Yeah, it is, I guess. Kind of a long one though. Um... all Wyverns are wild where I come from. No one's ever tried to tame one. They breathe fire and are the size of a house, it'd be suicide.
no subject
...Still, he looks at her lightly as he takes his next bite. As if to show pride in her abilities as well as to question if she met any of the riders. He doesn't approve of Vaida at all, for one]
no subject
Really? You don't? That must be so much more easy! We have to use books, and they wear off and break after you use them too much, too! I hid my first Fire tome from M-Sonia... I wonder if it's still there... They become more heavy the more powerful the spellbook, though... It's why I still like Fire better to Elfire!
Oh, so you can make magic yourself without the help of the spirits? That's amazing! A...aha, thank you! [She clearly grows more abashed at the compliment, but perks back up again as the subject turns to wyverns and pegasi again.]
A... a house? That's HUGE! I don't think I ever saw a wyvern breathing fire before... Hm? It's okay though, Jaffar! [She turns around at this increase in pression.] Uncle Legault said that mister Heath wasn't a bad person, and besides, I don't think that we'll ever see wyverns like this in Elibe, more like dragons! If Lord Eliwood's army wins, then the dragons can go back to sleep peacefully again, right?
no subject
Oh man, I can't imagine having to deal with that. I mean, stronger spells take more mana, so they'll tire you out quicker, but carrying around a bunch of books just to cast my spells? I'd go nuts!
Weeeeeell kinda-sorta. I mean the spirits of my world don't do much directly, but they're the source of pretty much everything, so that includes magic too.
Oh yeah, real huge. Could probably fit ten people on one's back. Guess your wyverns are way different than ours. I mean, ours are basically just another type of dragon.
no subject
...Lord Eliwood ... must win. ["For your future."]
no subject
Mark would know these things better... But everyone's doing their best, right? I'm... not very good myself, but Lord Eliwood's army took out ...Sonia, and could fight us all of the Black Fang... So the chances must be good! We'll win! [Cheerful smile directed at you, Jaffar. P.S.: She doesn't rly know what she's talking about. 8|; She knows this is what they have to do, but she can't be called too 'passionate' about the whole thing, :D;
Back to Arche!]
Your way is a lot more convenient! [A little pout here. She's jealous, but not totally conscious of it. :x] We don't have a lot of variety, too. I talk to the spirits a lot, and I think there are some wind tomes out there, but they must be heavy and you must be really experienced to use them! I probably can't... I'm happy with Fire and Thunder, but I really would like to see and use more kinds of anima!
Hm? Of course! The elemental spirits make up the elements and are totally rooted together with nature, so saying that they're the source of everything shouldn't be wrong! But yeah... They can be channeled with tomes and spells, but otherwise I think that's it. They're fun to talk to, though!
[oAo.] They have to be! A wyvern in your world sounds like a dragon in mine... Are there a lot of them? That would be really scary!...
