[There's a little chuckle, but then, this is Arche, that's probably to be expected.]

[Rustling of leaves is getting louder now.]

[She knocks, and then comes in.] I'm back, Arche. [Closing the door behind her, and coming in to where you are.] What are you plotting now?

[Arche turns to Suzu as she opens the door, and grins.] Welcome back, Suzu.

[She slips into a chair in the living room, gesturing for her to take the one across from her.] As you know by now, one of our good friends has had a birthday recently. One he forgot to inform us of.

[... Aaah. So that's what it's about.

Count her in. o/ She'll sit down.]

Yes. What do you have in mind, then? I'll do what I can.

Well, nothing big. Chester's not the type to appreciate something like that. I figure we should find a few of the friends he's made here, rope Cless into it, and give him a little surprise. Just a small, intimate gathering.

[Oh wow that actually made sense. She's impressed, but she won't let it show that much.]

That's a very sound idea. Where should we hold it, and who should we invite?

Good questions both. I dunno who his friends here really are, and as for a place, the only spot I can think of that he hangs out in aside from him and Cless's house is the forest, which... doesn't really work for this. We could call him over here...

We could make a filtered entry to invite others. I'm learning these. As for the place, if we ask for Cless' help, we can try to get him to keep Cless out of their house for a day while we set things up, or create an excuse for him to drop by and check on us here instead. I think both can be easily arranged.

How will you set it up, though?

Good idea. My filters are... not so good yet, so you probably ought to handle that. I think I'll ask Cless to bring him over here... I'll figure out some sort of excuse.

As for what we're going to set up... I figure the usual. A cake, some presents, maybe just a little bit of alcohol, and the rest of the fun will come from the guests!

I'll work on the invitation as soon as we have a solid plan, then.

I can arrange for a cake from the bakery. ...What kind of president can we get, though? And I do believe that none of us are of the legal age of drinking... How do you plan to get that? There is also the matter of decoration, and more food...

Presents are always the trickiest thing, but this is Chester, we should be able to come up with something... maybe some new arrows, or some sort of... hmmm, this'll be tricky.

Hey, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm a hundred and sixteen. Plenty old enough to drink a little. And besides, I'm not talking about much. Just... a glass or two each. I'd only need one or two bottles.

Decorations are easy. Hang a sign from the ceiling, a few streamers and such, and maybe some of those dorky-looking hats.

Hmmm... food might be a problem. Unless... maybe we could check in with that restaurant? See if they'll offer catering services or something?

...I suppose we'll have time for that.

You don't look the part. Will the bartender believe you? I do believe that you've built a reputation for mischief here, or at least, have started to do so.

We will have to drop by the stores, then. Hopefully, they will have the necessary material.

That sounds like a good idea. Would you want me to take care of that, as well?

I can look my age if I try. Just need to dress up a little, comb my hair into something more uh... respectable looking, and voila!

If not, we can make most of it ourselves with paper and markers. Or paint, but then we'll have to be really careful.

Yeah, why don't you do that, I'll swing by the bar, and we'll meet up once that's done and go to the store together?

Uh... well he loved anything Mint made, but that's kind of a given. I know he likes most types of meat... corn, squash, he always ate cherries too.
