[Slapped to the door of the clothing store is a note. It's not a very remarkable note, even if the text is a bit on the large side. But it's a note on a door, so most people will probably stop to read it.

This is what they will see.]

[And hiding in a nearby tree, watching the results of her little experiment, is one Arche Klaine.]

... That's fine as well. Since we're still on the subject, anyway. [She sets her uneaten sandwich half back on the plate.]

[Albert sets his unfinished sandwich down as well, turning to face Raine completely. He walks closer again, using the table to lean against slightly as he looks down at her.]

[No, there's nothing awkward about this at all. A mutual agreement between adults to settle something.

... Raine tilts her head up to look at Albert, giving a brief nod as he draws closer again. It was easier not to think about it the first time around, because she had no warning then.

Regardless her heart was already beating faster. How ridiculous was that?]

[How to best accomplish this? Albert adjusts his palm on the tabletop, his free hand moving to Raine's chin. His fingers brush gently over her skin; a luxury of sorts he was denied when he had to follow that order.

He smirks to himself as he tips Raine's chin up, his eyes meeting hers briefly. And then his hair provides him a slight shroud as his lips once again meet hers.]

[Raine's eyes slide up to meet his as Albert tilts her head up, then close once the kiss is initiated. Even though this time she knew it was coming, it didn't make it any less ...

Well. If it was going to be longer, she would have to do her part too.]

[His hands remain where he first placed them, not straying as he continues the kiss. So business-like, a part of him muses. But Raine's lips are soft and accepting, and it's a much nicer actually having control of this moment.

Albert disengages eventually, hand falling away from her face. He remains silent, contemplative.]

[Raine's eyes remain closed for a moment longer before slowly opening, and blinking, and looking back up at him.

She's silent as well, mostly because she needs to catch her breath.]

[Albert laughs lowly, straightening; he's made even more aware of their height difference when he's leaning over to kiss Raine.] Nice.

[She chuckles softly and smiles slowly after catching her breath.] ... Well. I suppose that is a step up from "too short to tell", in any case.

...Indeed.

[He steps back now, allowing Raine some room. Notably quicker than that first time around.] Carefully reserved. Characteristic of yourself.

[She notices that it's quicker, than the last time, though doesn't comment on that.] ... I see. Was it something you were expecting?

No. That would imply that I had been thinking of how you kiss, Professor.

I didn't say that you were.

[She half-glances towards her untouched sandwiches, but still isn't feeling any particular inclination towards eating.]

[Well, he doesn't know about you, Raine, but Albert is going back to finishing the other sandwich half he hadn't finished.]

I suppose it will take some time for your drink to chill.

On such a warm day, it's best served cold. I just hope it comes out all right...

[She finally reaches towards one of her sandwich halves at least, bringing it up to take a few small bites.]

We will just have to wait and see. [He glances at the foodstuff still around, then at Raine.] If you don't want anything else, I'll put away these other things.

[She nods, taking another small bite.]

Yes, that's probably best. I'm just fine with these sandwiches, thank you.

[He nods as well, lightly picking up the condiments, food, and knife. Mustard to the shelf, lettuce and ham to the icebox, and then to the sink to wash the knife.]

[Raine absently watches him as she finishes off the first half of the sandwich, as she uses the temporary silence as an attempt to reorganize he thoughts.]

[Now that the moment has passed, Albert is able to analyze the situation. He had been prepared for the second kiss, and properly quashed any reactions that were otherwise unbecoming the first time around. It was important to remember control, especially in a deceptively lax setting like Luceti.]

Half a week left, if this is a regular experiment. We will have to be careful.

... Indeed. I suppose it can't be helped, if people wish to treat experiments so lightly. It does put a dampener in journal monitoring, however, unless we could find an effective counter for it.

Most of the 'prank' commands are bearable away from prying eyes. Voicing your displeasure is perhaps the worst thing you can do in this experiment.

Monitoring can be done as long as that is kept in mind.

Away from prying eyes, until they become commands that call one out into public. There has to be a simpler way of safeguarding against them.

Of course. That would make someone more than easily a target.
