It seems like it, sometimes. I can't really figure out what the pattern is, but I just keep thinking there's got to be one. Maybe it's related to the invasion?

Maybe it's in compensation for the invasion. Restating their authority or whatever.

I suppose now that we know the barrier can be broken, folks might be tempted to try again if they don't try and quiet us down.

Though frankly I can see this method backfiring.

They could care less what we do to ourselves, though. I just hope no one is actually stupid enough to try it and hurt themselves in the process.

A whole group would draw all sorts of unnecessary attention for their wasted efforts. Patrols could probably watch out for those who come back and the those who figure they can actually do something about that barrier.

Good thing I'm gonna be joining the patrols then, it looks like they're gonna need all the extra hands they can get.
