16th Flight: [Action]

[It is probably none too surprising that most of the trees in Luceti now have snow-covered branches.

However, a few observant folks might notice that not all of the snow appears undisturbed...

Arche snickers as she places the last of her snowball piles in the boughs of Luceti's trees.] Perfect. Now everything's set up.

[She is now going to fly around the village, looking for people out and about who might prove amusing targets. She's got snowballs stashed pretty much everywhere, so the only question is: Are you going to be one of her victims?]

[Yes, yes I am.

Well he's out anyway. And he's picking up some corn. Lots of corn...]

[And have a Kazuma walking along the street, minding his own business. He hasn't been here long, so he's still just kinda ~~looking for an escape route~~ checking things out.]

[Arche may or may not see a teeny, tiny ball of yellow light hopping around the marketplace. Miya had just retrieved her brushsword and clothes from the shops with the help of a few nice people. She was now pondering what to do about her heavy journal. She couldn't possibly lift it, what with being less than an inch high and all.

Ah, so unsuspecting~]

[Have another target. Terra's out and about, making her way down the street. She looks a little oblivious at the moment, paying more attention to the freshly fallen snow than anything else.]

[Rydia's wandering around town, looking grumpy and as though she's searching for something. At some point, something catches her eye and she dashes over to unearth the rest of something green in the snow. It turns out to be a long sleeve. She bundles it up, grumbling anew for some reason.]

[Why do you need so much corn, Haruki?

Oh well, she doesn't care. All she knows is that she's got a whole bunch of snowballs in a tree and a perfect target to use them on. Let's pelt him and hide behind the tree!]

[Check out this, Kazuma! It's a large snowball aimed at the back of your head!

Also she'll be hiding behind the tree when he turns around.]

[Now what is this extremely tiny thing? Peering down at it, Arche leans in on her tree, debating whether or not to fly down on her broom and examine it more closely.

On the other hand, it could just be a bug, and in that case it probably isn't worth it. Let's test it out first... with a snowball! Look out, Miya!]

[Oh this is too easy. Deciding to be tricky with this one, Arche deliberately aims for Terra's lower half, figuring that she'll assume the person is on an even level with her if it hits her there.]

[She's lifting up her snowball, she's ready to throw it straight at the back of Rydia's head...

Oh, that woman just unearthed (unsnowed?) a piece of cloth from the snow. What is she doing... are those her clothes?

... Man, throwing snow at her would be just unfair. Let's fly down and talk to her instead.] Hey! You alright?

-The jacket/scarf monster is making her way to the library. She might as well be wearing a giant target on her back.-

[It's because he's got a baby chicken to feed at home OKAY-

But more importantly, that smarts. And that-]

Oi oi oi!

[Jeez, this one's bundled up enough that trying to get a good shot in is going to be a problem.

But wait... neither jacket nor scarf is protecting those legs well...

Aim, fire, hide.]

[I am hiding you can't see me!

The bushy pink hair probably doesn't help her much though...]

[And Miya is hit! And...promptly bowled over with a loud and high-pitched shriek. A second later the snowball bursts apart and that golden little creature now blazes a bright, hot red.]

WHO THREW THAT!?

[Her sword is drawn and she's looking around quickly, wings of her butterfly cap swishing back and forth.]

[...You know Haruki still wonders, from that one conversation they had, if the carpet matches the drapes. He intends to find that out someday, and oddly is thinking that in a non-sexual way because he's a freak.

In any case though, after looking there, looking... looking]

A sniper snowball, seriously?!

Hey!

[Brrrr! That snow's cold--especially since most of it goes down the back of his collar. Scanning the area, he searches out the culprit, but of course, sees no one.]

Hn. So that's how it is, huh? Well...we'll see 'bout that!

[Leaninging down, he scoops up a handful of snow, packing it into a ball and chucks it at the most likely-looking hiding place. Lather, rinse, repeat--he'll eventually flush 'em out!]

-Splat.

Flump.

Flail.-

[... That's a fascinatingly bizarre thought train there, Haruki.

Oh, looks like he caught her. She steps out onto the branch, tossing another ball up and down in the air.]

It's all about the reactions.

[Well, that answers that question nicely! Too bad it looks like the little creature is upset now. Let's hide behind the tree and under no circumstances respond to that question.]

[Throwing from up in a tree helps with these sort of things, as it isn't too difficult for her to avoid his retaliation by hiding behind it. And since he's just firing randomly, she'll wait for an opening...

And another snowball flies at the back of his head!]

[NO IT IS TOTALLY NORMA- Actually yes it is why is he such a weird sob. But looking up at her, he would fold his arms, but well, he's got a bag of corn.

No he is not going to rape Neku :C

But anyway-] I guess. It's a bit uninspired for a witch though.

[Oh Goddess that's great. Arche covers her mouth with her hand to stifle her snickers as she peeks out from behind the tree just enough to see her.]

[Damn! Snowballed again! He spins around, facing the direction the sneak-attack came from. At least he's got a general area to focus on now and starts lobbing snowballs into the trees.]

[Well, normal for him, I guess. She just chuckles.]

Not everything needs to be complex and require hours of setup. Sometimes the simple pleasures are the best ones.
