23rd Flight: [Action]
[Sitting on the roof of the library is one pink haired witch, flipping her way through a stack of pilfered books.
... Well, she'd say "borrowed", but seeing as how she didn't ask anyone's permission to check them out, it's pretty much the same thing.
She doesn't seem to be putting much importance into hiding her blatant disregard for library protocol, given how she's dangling her legs right in front of the door in. This could possibly be a distraction though, from the smaller stack of books set rather precariously on top of the partly-open door. Caution opening the door would probably be advised.]

AVALANCHE OF BOOKS, DHAOS.
...He just stands there, stunned. Ow.]
no subject
Oh. Weeeeeeeell crap.]
Uh... hi, Dhaos.
no subject
...
[...If it's any consolation, the glare Arche is getting is flat rather than outright angry.]
no subject
Eh heh... how's your head?
no subject
[Dhaos does a few more seconds of glaring flatly in response before speaking.]
What are you doing?
no subject
no subject
These as well?
no subject
[Wow, she's one fast reader. Then again, you pretty much have to be if you want to be a mage.]
no subject
You ought to find a better place to put them.
no subject
And then Arche was there.]
Hey. ...What're you doing?
no subject
Hi Sheena. Just making my way through a few books I've been meaning to read. How about you?
no subject
[totally about to push the door open. Arche do you want her to have a concussion.]
no subject
Uh, hang on a second, Sheena. I've been putting the books I'm done with on the top of the door, lemme grab those, okay?
no subject
...Were you really putting them there just 'cause you were done with them?
no subject
Are you implying something, Sheena?
[Grabbing her broom so she can more easily get at the stack (really just five books, and none that heavy, so she can carry them all at once) she picks them up and balances them carefully as she heads back up to deposit them on the roof.]
no subject
[shaking her head. Oh Arche you troublemaker.
But you saved her life once, so all is forgiven.]
no subject
Well, I'm not telling one way or another.
[action]
Oh! Good evening Arche! I haven't seen you in quite some time.
[ Despite the visible stack of books on top of the door, she is completely oblivious of the young girl's mischief. ]
[action]
Hi Martel! Yeah, I've been... kinda out of the loop recently. Oh, hold on the door a moment, I gotta grab my books.
[She sets the one she's reading aside, carefully, and slips down onto her broom.]
I've been seeing how many I could balance on the door at once. [Yeah, that's not suspicious at all.]
[action]
Ah, I see. That's an interesting experiment there.
[ A concerned look spreaded across her face. ]
Out of the loop? What's the matter?
[ There she goes. Being all motherly again. ]
[action]
Well, I had to do something with the ones I was finished with.
[She shrugs in response to that question as she gathers up her books.]
I'm not sure anything's wrong, exactly. It's been a pretty quiet month for me, which I guess is kinda weird, but then again I'm not sure I want to draw attention to myself right now.
[action]
Is it because you miss someone?
[ And would that someone be her boyfriend? ]
[action]
A... lot of someones, actually.
[action]
[ If she had known better, she would have thought that Arche was going to say "a boy." ]
[action]
[Are you trying to play matchmaker, Martel?]
[action]
[ When she mentions Chester's name, then yes; Martel will start playing matchmaker. ]
