The events that transpired these past few weeks have made me realize that more research on these so-called Filial spirits is definitely needed. What are they, where did they come from and what are their true objectives? I'll have to invest more time in contracting them all and finding more information. Other than that, I've noticed a few patterns regarding the timelines from which Aselians were taken, but not enough to come to any actual conclusions.

Everyone from over four-thousand years ago was taken either around the time of the new Tree's birth, or roughly two years later. Our own timelines are a bit more erratic, though. While Cless and Chester were taken before our final battle with Dhaos, I was taken shortly after and you were taken much later. Which leads me to wonder... Was anything important about to happen to Aselia, or had it already recently occurred, in the time you're from?

Gooood question. I mean, with all the time traveling involved, it's honestly hard to tell. As far as Cless and the others went, it was only a few days since the end of the whole Dhaos mess. Of course, for us it was a hundred years, but... time travel, y'know?
